Procedure
1 .Place 2 eggs in the same beaker (250 ml). Pour 100 ml of vinegar to cover the eggs completely. Leave it for a day.
2. Remove eggs after 24 hours and take out of the beaker carefully. Observe both of the egg's appearances and record in a data table.
3. Weigh each egg and record the results in another data table.
4. Pour 5 drops of red or any type of food coloring in 150 ml of water
5. Then pour the red water into a beaker and do the same with the corn syrup.
6. Label each beaker.
7. Record the volume of each substance on a different data table.
8. Place egg number 1 in the beaker with red water.
9.Place egg number 2 in the beaker with corn syrup.
10. Leave it for another 24 hours.
11. Remove the eggs from the beaker after 24 hours.
12. Observe the appearance of both egg and record it in the first data table.
13. Weigh the eggs again and record the results in the second data table.
14. Measure the volume of the left over liquid in the beaker and record the results in the 3rd data table.
15. Carefully pop the outside of the egg (membrane) using a toothpick and write down your observations in the first data table.
